Ion Biotechnology Aqueous Ligands
The Ionic Alliance Group Aqueous Ligand is a new kind of coordination complex made up of molecules. It is a hexaaqua ligand system that actively transports free ions through cell membranes. ThisĀ Ionic Alliance Group system targets cellular metabolism and can be highly effective in enhancing bioavailability of nutrients. Its chemical components include hydrogen, oxygen, copper, zinc, magnesium, and ammine.
To determine ion selectivity at the binding site, a statistical mechanical framework was developed. This model considers two contributions to the overall influence of the system: the N coordinating ligands and the ion. The influence of the rest of the system is expressed as the sum of these two contributions. The first contribution incorporates all the molecular forces while the second one regroups them.
The rate coefficients of goethite dissolution by ligands are highly correlated with the stability constants of aqueous Fe(III)-ligand complexes. In addition, ascorbate and DFOB have synergistic effects on the rate of goethite dissolution. This effect was most prominent under oxic conditions. However, ascorbate’s inhibitory effect on HBED dissolution concealed the synergistic effect. This finding may have implications for iron bioavailability in soil environments.
